Feudal Japan: Shogunate
Hi everyone, here's the recent artstation challenge I did. Thanks for all the support during the chanllege.
A simple hero's journey story with a group of four, each with different motive, came together helping lift the curse on the capital in the end.

Character line-up
A farm boy eager to become a samurai.
He found a samurai helmet while scavenging the battle field, led him on a journey to the outside world.
A exiled soldier who is finding his purpose after lost the war.
Bound with loyalty to his former lord, can't let go of the past. Altough he doesn't encourage the boy's ideal of samurai, but willing to protect and guide him along the way.
A foreign musician full of novelty.
Performing as a Maiko in the capital. she's secretly the sister of the new Shogun. Discontent with her family's military regulation, she went on a seperate life as an artist instead. She still cares for her sister.
A young tanuki shinobi who is very skilled in nijitsu.
He was an orphan and trained in the moutain. As a trial of his apprenticeship, his master sent him on a mission to find out about the recent occurring demon crisis in the capital.
A female warlord who won the war and become the new Shogun.
She's half Dutch and raised in a military family. Open to the western world, value the importance of technology, with that she defeated all her enemies through out the years.
A dead warlord summoned back to the world causing chaos in the capital.
He was a very traditional samurai and great strategist, respected by his followers. Lost the war against new Shogun's gunpower. Former lord to the Samurai, and owner of the Helmet.
A fox spirit possessed emerpor.
The royal family lived under the tyranny of Shogunate for years. The young emperor built this hatred and pact with evil spirit. With recent war broke out, she seized the opportunity to curse the capital with demons.
A tanuki hermit, living in the mountain on a teapot.
He's master of tea, consultant for many daimyos, but refuses to involve in politics. Sensei to the Ninja, he sent him out as he sensed an aura of demon occurring. Age of dispute with the Fox.
